PET is meant for single-use applications and repeated use
increases the risk of leaching carcinogens and bacterial growth.
2. Avoid the use of polystyrene. Polystyrene is used for disposable
Styrofoam drinking cups, take-out containers, packing peanuts,
and more.
Polystyrene is not generally recyclable and should not be reused
as it breaks apart easily and may leach carcinogens into food
products.
3. Avoid the use of disposable goods such as lighters, paper cups
and plastics. Once these goods are used, they must be replaced
as they were made for one time usage.
