               3. Invest in Energy-Efficient Appliances





               Old appliances in your home are eventually replaced. Take the




               opportunity  to  make  subtle  changes  that  can  help  improve



               energy  conservation  within  your  home  by  replacing  old



               appliances with new ones that have energy-efficient labels.





               Look for the ENERGY STAR ratings and the logo on appliances,



               which  indicate  that  the  appliance  uses  less  energy.  This  is




               especially  important  for  your  washer,  dryer  and  even




               refrigerator.
